Livelihood Enhancement Plan

The livelihood Enhancement Plan (LEP) provides targeted support for small scale agricultural activities to disadvantaged groups in the subproject areas. The plan has been formulated by the DADO in consultation with representatives of the disadvantaged groups which were identified and organized with support of a local NGO engaged by the project to support social development in the subproject areas. The LEP usually comprises of extension activities for micro agriculture development such as small scale vegetable production, mushroom cultivation, bee keeping and micro irrigation.
